This is who I know I'm meant to be — and I'm letting her run the show now. It's the freaking scariest thing I've ever done.
Every time I sat down to show up "properly," she'd disappear. The filter came up. The performance. The safety belt was on. And I'd post something that I thought sounded like me, only to realize how polished it was — and how far from HER.
